It’s a new day
Well, Jesse did not get his job back. I figured he wouldn’t. The charges for vandalism were dropped in court, but Xanterra wouldn’t take him back since he “destroyed” their precious property.
So that’s that.
I haven’t quite gotten over it yet; I will miss him very dearly. I have been missing him.
I was hoping to have Megan move in, but when I went to Personnel today, they said my room was the only open one, and they needed to fill it with this girl that was sitting right there. She seemed really cool and down to Earth right off the bat, so I didn’t argue. Megan and I will get to live together at the end of the season when we post-season at Old Faithful.
So my new roommate is named Danielle. She is 26, and from….New Jersey! fist bumps in the air She seems very cool. I got lucky.

I don’t have much more to write, except that the countdown is down to 2 days until Mer comes to visit. Yes. I have been working a bunch of weird shifts so that when he gets here, I only have to work dinner shifts when he is here and we can spend the days together. So even though today is my “Friday,” I am working dinner tonight, breakfast tomorrow, and breakfast the next day. I’m pretty exhausted from it all, but it’s worth it
Other than that countdown, there isn’t much else going on. So here are some bison pictures that are pretty sweet and show what you see here everyday at Yellowstone, so I guess I’ll just throw ‘em here on this post:
People being stupidly close to the bison, as per usual
Mister Coyote, coexisting with General Bisons
The boss
Note the dude rolling around in the dirt...my favorite thing to watch Bison do
The end. Heading to work.
