“I’m Anoush, and I’ll be your server this evening…”

I rocked my very first shift.

I worked dinner last night, on my own, and my SA (server assistant aka bus boy) and I were a great team.  I had a party of 8 and a party of 13, and I had no problems the whole night.  And I made $150 in tips!

Then this morning, I was due to have one last breakfast training shift, because you have to train on each meal twice and I had only trained once on breakfast, but they put me on my own section.  I was super busy, and a lovely couple from the night before came in and requested to sit in my section.  They are from Jackson, and they came in with a map of the Tetons labeled with recommendations for me and their phone number

I made $100 tips, which is apparently unheard of at breakfast, where usually you make around $20 to $40 if you’re lucky.  I guess I got lucky!  Not bad for my first shift

Now, I am packing up and getting ready to go camping in the Grand Tetons for a couple of days with Josh, Meghan and Jim.  And they just knocked on my door!  I’m off!
